Introduction to C++
This module is an introduction to the C++ programming language. It will also serve as a programming reference that you can use throughout the course.
This module will cover variable data types, boolean branching structures, looping structures, and functions.
Objectives
Upon completion of this module, you should be able to:
- Describe the three-part C++ build process.
- Use comments in your C++ code.
- Store data in variables and constants.
- Define and use reference variables.
- Understand the purpose for, and limits of, the primitive data types.
- Output variables to the console.
- Fetch user input from the keyboard.
- Perform math operations on numbers and numeric variables.
- Code various conditional and looping structures.
